Hi Ninni,
Child driven research is a rare thing in Australia - is it more common in Norway? It would be very interesting to hear about your methodology for children's conceptualisations of lines of flight.
PS I have a Swedish/Scandinavian ning-community called Foucault i utbildningsvetenskap (in educational scienc) which youre welcome to! http://edufoucault.ning.com/
We were most active last autumn - but you never know with these places/spaces.
Hi Ninni! How nice to connect to an Australian community and meet neighbours! I use governmentality as a part of my upcoming PhD thesis, focsuing on the government of higher education change in terms of new spatialitites and subjectivities, and especially focusing on IT and distance education. IFocault used yes bu Chantal Mouffe political theorization I think is very intersting.
Hello Ninni
I just had a wonderful moment as I opened this and your beautiful work slowly appeared. Thank you!
I notice that when your work appeared I was completely drawn in, pulled towards it and then had to sit back and look again and again. You achieve this visually. I struggle with doing this in words, getting the colour, the texture, the complexities. In this work you are completely there and there is also space for me. I think there is now more room for papers/presentations that search for this and resist 'rightness' but (like you) I am working on a presentation for a conference next week and can feel myself also wanting to be 'ready', to show that I know what I am talking about. Perhaps more emphasis on the visual would open up this space for something to flow between us rather than my feeling this pressure towards certainty. Contemplating your work I have decided that whatever creates a moment of 'spiritual withness' will be fine...

Hi Ninni
it would be lovely to see some of your textile works if you have some to put on the SIG? I am interested to know more about your research and how you work with young children, as it sounds like we have a lot in common.
you know, it would be great if we could think about the possibilities of collectively presenting our visual research works, what do you think?
I do focus on methodology as this paper hopefully will become an article concerning methodology in my project. But it does all connect, so I am trying to conceptualize something about critical issues and theories as well. The genre of articles seem to often present a 'knowing voice'. Right now I seem to 'know' nothing and thus struggling with genre is also a part of it all!!! I wish I had more time to read and write :-)
