- About me
- I am currently in my third year of PhD research. Before these studies I worked as an English teacher in secondary schools.
- Research interests
- I have been employing an analytic of government in my study of the self-managing school. My research is composed of three related case studies: devolution, management and parental choice. Through these case studies, I have examined numerous rationalities that have rendered the 'modern school' intelligible and practicable to political deliberation and intervention. This has involved linking expertise and 'agents of social rule' to political discourse and forms of subjectification.
