Jo Anna,

You can make sure we're getting it right as we debreif/make connections with the book! :) Good luck with the PhD write up, and let us know when you defend. If others are like me, I look for any reason to celebrate, and a successful defend is a very good reason to celebrate.

regards,
robert

Looks really interesting & I shall follow but can't join as in final stages of my PhD write up - but look forward to exploring my research through this Foucault perspective in the future...

Vicky, Sam, and Foucault group members,

i have set up a discussion above to read and discuss the book History of Sexuality volume 1. The idea is to become familiar with what Foucault has to say in the book and to think of ways that the ideas can help move our research interests in new/fresh directions. Everyone is welcome to join the conversation. I look forward to reading what you think!

Hello Robert and Vicki, I would love to take part. I haven't read The History of Sexuality I, II 'or' III (and know I should), however, I just don't know that I'll be able to commit the time necessary to be an active contributor. Hmmm, I'll wait to see if anyone else is in the same boat!

Vicky, thanks for your interest in discussing the text. lets wait for a few days to see if anyone else is interested. Then i'll start a discussion where we can debrief the text as we read it. i'm excited to start!

be well,
robert

I am going to re-read Foucault's History of Sexuality vol. 1 and look for different ways I can apply it to my research in education. I am wondering if anyone else is interested in making this a book club and read the text together. If you are interested in exploring how Foucault can be further applied to your reserach, join me. Depending on whether anyone is interested, I will create a discussion and we can debrief our readings there.

regards,
robert
